Urban Graphic Design and illustration in Beijing: Jaguar’s XF time.

Urban Graphic Design and illustration in Beijing: Jaguar’s XF time.

Last week we saw while walking through the crowded Sanlitum Village the awesome models of Jaguar XF. What called our attention was this time the plane color was replaced by the illustrations of the Chinese artist Chen Bo. Nice sample of a different way to show the car with cool illustrations, even made real time in front of the people.

Another sample showing Graphic Design and illustration in Beijing is a topic will probably give many interesting conversations in next years.

It’s so interesting discover in Beijing another graphic designers working as freelance or inside another Creative Studios whose nice job and creativity are recognized and appreciated by Chinese new arts scenario. Illustrabrazil exhibition at Beijing 798 Art Zone

Illustrabrazil exhibition at Beijing 798 Art Zone

One of Beijing’s contemporary art galleries is the 798 Beijing Art District. This is one great place for strolling, souvenir collections and most importantly, art.
We have been to 798 Beijing Art Gallery a few days ago and it gives me one of the best feelings ever. That best feeling is brought by understanding the life and culture of Brazil trough arts. This concept travelled from Brazil to China through illustrobrazil. Illustrobrazil, as the name implies, is a long time project of Society of illustrators in Brazil, which focuses in illustrating the bounty and beauty of the “country of the future”.

China media in modern lifestyle

China, being regarded as the world’s most populated country, is one of the most successful in industry. Its achievements involves calligraphy, paper making, compass, herbal teas, and even horoscopes or the zodiacs. Despite the achievements, some things about China is slow in developing, like the famous media restrictions.
Even though China’s media industry seems to be going back and forth, there are lots of ways to improve the way China’s media is perceived by outsider.
